What is the difference between a uPVC door and a composite door?
Whereas the main construction of a uPVC front or back door consists of Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride, a composite door is built from several materials. The former also do an excellent job at keeping heat in the home and securing it against forced entry attempts, although composite doors tend to have the edge in these regards. Generally, a uPVC front or back door is the more cost-effective option compared to composite doors which are more premium.
