Can you give me a price for a product?
If you have the specification of the product you are looking for including the design and sizes, our team will be able to give you an estimate quotation[E1] * via telephone or email. We do provide a free quotation service in which our salesman will visit your property to assess the requirements and provide with you a more accurate price for your installation requirements.
What happens when I receive my quotation?
If you are happy with the no-obligation quotation that has been provided by our sales team and would like to place an order, please contact our team via telephone or email who will assist you further to process your order.
What is the lead time before I receive my order?
We aim for orders to be received and installed within three to four weeks after final measurements are taken, subject to the product being ordered.
How long does installation take?
When our surveyor visits your property to take final measurements you will be advised an expected duration for installation depending on the requirements of your property and what product has been ordered. A typical conservatory, for example, could take around four weeks to build but larger structures can take up to six weeks. One replacement window can be fitted in just one day, whereas replacing all of the windows in a house can take a few days.
Will I receive a FENSA certificate?
We are a FENSA approved installer as assurance that we are compliant with building regulations and that your installation will have an insurance backed guarantee. Where we have replaced existing external windows, doors, roof windows, or roof lights, we will certify the installation with FENSA and you will receive a certificate approximately 4-6 weeks after completion of your contract.
Will I receive a guarantee?
When your installation has been completed and your contract closed, we will issue an insurance backed guarantee and maintenance guidelines to you. Our installations come with a ten-year insurance backed guarantee with Home Improvement Protection for your peace of mind, so you can confidently purchase a service from us and be assured that you have cover where required. So that you can get the most out of your installation, we issue maintenance guidelines to prolong the life of your installation and keep your home improvements operating to their full potential.
What areas do you cover?
Although we are Wirral based, we operate our residential installation services across many parts of North West England and North Wales, including Lancashire, Flintshire, and Denbighshire for example. Our delivery service for both trade and commercial work cover a wider range of locations including Blackpool, Anglesey, Colwyn Bay, Leeds, and Birmingham.
What is the difference between a uPVC door and a composite door?
Whereas the main construction of a uPVC front or back door consists of uPVC, a composite door is built from several materials. The former also do an excellent job at keeping heat in the home and securing it against forced entry attempts, although composite doors tend to have the edge in these regards. Generally, a uPVC front or back door is the more cost-effective option compared to composite doors which are more premium.
